Beyonce always knows how to make an entrance -- and she made one earlier than expected Sunday night, just moments after the MTV VMA red carpet began.

Joined by best gal Blue Ivy Carter, the pair strutted their way down the carpet. Many of Beyonce's "Formation" dancers were also in attendance, giving credence to rumors that Bey would be performing during the broadcast (or just prepping for a huge trophy haul for Lemonade).
