Beyoncé takes us behind the scenes of her 'Formation' tour's flawless looks

Beyoncé definitely has the range, the dance skills and performance artistry.

With all that, it's easy to forget that she also has a renowned fashion sense that has placed her on countless best dressed lists and even landed her an icon award.

We rarely see behind the curtain when it comes to this fashion side of Queen Bey. Now, as the Formation World Tour is in full swing, we finally get a snippet of the people who work behind the scenes on the looks that complete each concert.

In the video uploaded to Beyoncé's Facebook page, costume designer Marni Senofonte describes how the process of designing pieces for the tour began with the film Lemonade.

"There was a very antebellum feel to the film," she said, referencing trips to New Orleans and "Victorian streetwear."

Assistant Eyob Yohannes describes in the short clip how designers sketched within the framework they were given and the results from what eventually selected are the stunning ensembles we see on stage.

Those fancy hats Bey and crew rock back and forth every show? The creator drove to Mexico for materials. "No where in the world do they make these hats," Senofonte said.

The video shows folks dying fishnets in crockpots to match skin tones, cutting armpit holes to support various movements, and all the little not-so-glamorous moments that lead up to her captivating concerts.
