Beyoncé's Coachella set has people ready to enroll in her university
Beyoncé's performance at Coachella on Saturday was historic. Not only was she the first woman of color to headline the festival, she may have inadvertently started a grassroots movement for a Beyoncé University.
After Beyoncé Knowles' star-studded, heart-stopping set at Coachella Saturday, fans couldn't help but notice the inspiration she drew from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) for the evening's performance. Using the hashtags #HBeyCU and #Beychella, people were gushing online about the possibility of enrolling in Bey's fictitious school.
