Just as we're all starting to recover from our Lemonade hangovers, Beyoncé sent the Beyhive into a state of all-out panic at the first stop on her highly anticipated Formation World Tour on Wednesday night in Miami.

To kick it off, Beyoncé had a directive for her fans: "If you came here to have a good time, say 'I slay.' If you're proud of where you're from say 'I slay.'"

Just about everyone at Marlins Park obeyed. And Queen Bey herself gave new meaning to the powerful phrase over and over again. Here are five times she took "I slay" to another level in Miami.

Kicking it off with 'Formation'

The Formation Tour is officially under way, and Beyoncé kicked it all off with -- what else? -- "Formation."

Then came "Sorry." "I'll help you through this one," Beyoncé said. But that wasn't necessary.

"Bow Down" and "Run the Girls" followed, getting the crowd -- particularly the women -- thoroughly amped.

Taking the throne

Beyoncé quickly transformed Marlins Park into her dominion, punctuating her role as Queen Bey with a throne.

Spotlighting fans

She plucked two lucky ladies from the crowd to perform her earworm "Single Ladies." And they killed it.

Giving a subtle nod to Prince

She paid tribute to Prince with purple lighting before slowing it down with her 2003 R&B number "Me, Myself and I."

That sultry choreography
