During Sunday's Poland stop on Beyoncé and Jay-Z's "On The Run II" tour, the unthinkable happened: The Queen (and her husband,) got trapped on stage and had to be rescued via an emergency ladder.

You can watch the moment play out on video captured by a fan below. At first, everything seems normal. Beyoncé and Jay sing "Young Forever," the show's closing song, standing atop a platform rising from the stage.

Home videos play in the background, and it takes a bit of time to notice that while the couple finishes up their final song, the raised platform isn't returning to stage level. In short: They're stuck.

But like the professionals they are, Beyoncé and Jay smiled and thanked the audience for showing up.

"Please give it up for the dancers, and please give it up for the crew and everyone that puts this thing together," Beyoncé said, perhaps throwing a bit of shade in the midst of the stage malfunction.

All this is happening while crew members secure a ladder that the couple then climbs down to safer grounds (seen at the 6:48 minute mark in the video below.)

The video below provides a closer look at Queen Bey preparing to leave the platform. After some clear hesitation, she effortlessly climbs down the ladder while wearing stiletto boots.

Thankfully this malfunction occurred during the final song of their "On The Run II" set, meaning it wasn't much of a disruption. Still, that didn't stop folks from making jokes about the situation.

It's only a matter of time before the BeyHive memorializes the ladder in one way or another.
