When it comes to awards snubs, it seems that for the 2016 cycle, the internet finds the complete lack of Emmys for Beyonce's visual titan Lemonade the most egregious.

Last week, it lost out to a Carpool Karaoke primetime showing for Best Variety Special. And Sunday night Grease: Live directors Thomas Kail (who is also the genius who directed Hamilton) and Alex Rudzinski won the award for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special at the Emmys over Beyonce and Kahlil Joseph for Lemonade (which is eligible because it originally aired on HBO).

"I wouldn't want to be those guys when Kanye finds out they beat Beyoncé," host Jimmy Kimmel joked.

While the Beyhive naturally freaked out about the lack of Emmys for Bey's visual masterpiece, Kail and Rudzinski also deserve kudos for their live television spectacular that many agree brought the trend of live TV musicals to new heights.

Besides, something tells us Beyonce is going to be just fine.

Grammys, here she comes.
