Beyoncé's latest campaign stars model with muscular dystrophy
"Ok ladies, now let's get in Formation!"
This call to action came from model Jillian Mercado on Wednesday as she announced her staring role in Beyoncé's newest merchandise campaign.

Mercado, who uses a wheelchair, posed in a collection of hoodies, tees and hats plastered with Queen Bey's lyrics like "Smack It," and "I Twirl On Them Haters." The products are available on the diva's website to promote her album and highly anticipated upcoming Formation World Tour.
In addition to being a proud member of the Beyhive, Mercado has muscular dystrophy.
A regular on the fashion scene and an outspoken advocate for diversity in the industry, she's no stranger to being in front of the camera.
In August the influencer was signed by IMG Models and has posed for major brands, appearing in a 2014 Diesel campaign and a full-page editorial for CR Fashion Book magazine.
While the fashion world is slowly becoming more inclusive -- by embracing the plus size community and providing a platform for models with disabilities -- there is still a long road ahead.
Mercado's work is a welcome reminder that beauty comes in all forms and the world wants to see more of it.
