Beyoncé knows how to put on a silver-studded show — IRL or in the theater.

This weekend, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé hit number one in its opening weekend in the U.S., according to Deadline, grossing $22 million at the box office. The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes and Godzilla Minus One fell to numbers two and three, respectively. While most fans were psyched about the show, some criticized the billionaire for screening the film in Israel amid its ongoing conflict with Palestine.

Beyoncé’s Renaissance is a concert film featuring behind-the-scenes footage and all the songs performed during the Renaissance tour, including surprise appearances from Megan Thee Stallion and Kendrick Lamar. It was distributed by AMC, who, according to Pitchfork, asked Beyoncé fans to "not dance on seats or block other guests from viewing, safely walking or exiting the auditorium," and to take off any "parts of your outfit [that] will potentially block other viewers from the screen."

The film captured some exceptional moments of musicality, athleticism, and costume design for both Beyoncé and her daughter Blue Ivy.

Fans rejoiced. Here are just a few of the internet reactions.
