Beyoncé's new wax figure looks absolutely nothing like Beyoncé

Who are you and what have you done with Beyoncé?

If you're wondering how easy it is to forget the face of one of the most famous and successful women in the world, according to Madame Tussauds New York, it's pretty damn easy.

Complex reports that last Wednesday, the famous wax museum announced they were putting a new Beyoncé figure on display through September. They made their announcement via Twitter with a direct tweet at Beyoncé and a photo of the figure.

The tweet got almost no response, which is surprising because this Beyoncé wax figure looks nothing like Beyoncé.

No, no, NO. How could they get this so wrong? From the hair to the skin tone it's just positively WRONG.

If you're not convinced that this wax figure might as well have been done by someone trying to sculpt Beyoncé with their eyes closed, take a look at these photos tweeted by someone claiming to be a Madame Tussauds employee.

I mean, who even IS that?

The figure still didn't get much attention even after these photos were posted -- not until Twitter user @CCFan007 posted this photo calling the wax figure "fierce."

And then people took notice and had A LOT to say, mostly about how it looks less like Beyoncé and more like every other famous woman out there.

Lindsay Lohan?

Shakira, is that you?

Kesha??????

And, omg, Hilary Duff?

They searched far and wide to find Beyoncé in this wax mess to no avail.

But wait. This isn't the first time a wax figure of Beyoncé has looked this bad. In fact, if you can believe it, they've looked even worse. We mean absolutely horrible.

What makes matters worse is Kylie Jenner just received her very own wax figure at Madame Tussauds, and it looks exactly like her. They might as well be twins, honestly.

Regarding the complaints about the figure, Madame Tussauds New York released this statement,

At Madame Tussauds, our talented team of sculptors take every effort to ensure we accurately colour match all of our wax figures to the celebrity being depicted.  Lighting within the attraction combined with flash photography may distort and misrepresent the colour of our wax figures which is something our sculptors are unable to account for at the production stage.

Hmm, that may explain the the figure's color, but still doesn't explain why the rest of it looks so off.

We're just so confused about how this could go so terribly, horribly wrong. Bey deserves to look like the queen she is, even in wax.
