The all-important Animal Crossing vote is Joe Biden's to lose at this point.

After a successful campaign launch that brought Biden/Harris yard signs to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the Democratic candidates vying for the White House in 2020 are back for more. They've upped their presence in Nintendo's March release with a lineup of virtual swag for supporters to wear.

In a fun twist, the assortment of sweatshirts (plus one hoodie) is all based on actual swag that the campaign is selling through its own online store. Check some of it out right here....

"We were blown away by the enthusiasm and energy we saw for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris   across the Animal Crossing community last month when we launched our yard signs," said Christian Tom, director of digital partnerships for the Biden/Harris campaign, in a statement provided to Mashable.

"Today, we are excited to roll out new digital merch that mirrors the IRL merch from our Team Joe online store and “Believe in Better” series, allowing players to let their characters show their Biden-Harris pride wherever they are."

New Horizons has proven to be a fertile arena in the midst of 2020's pandemic for all sorts of socially distanced event planning and signal boosting. The game's social elements, coupled with the huge inventory of cosmetic items and user creation features, has led to the creation of a popular talk show hosted by one of the writers on the Star Wars spinoff Rogue Squadron.

"We are proud to be meeting online communities where they are and inventing creative ways to engage our supporters and get out the vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris," Tom's statement continued. "Between now and Election Day, you can definitely expect more from us on Animal Crossing as we continue scaling up our voter education and organizing efforts."

The new Animal Crossing merch comes just over a month before Election Day on Nov. 3. It's more important than ever to get out and vote, and to make sure your vote is counted. Thankfully, the steady march toward Election Day has brought no small amount of voter-friendly resources aimed at making sure you know if you're registered and how the state you call home handles ballot counting.
