Look at these birds having fun spinning around on a vent

Having a whirl.

You were probably into the simple pleasure of spinning around fast as a child.

As these corella birds are when they can't help have a spin on this whirlybird, which is somehow the Australian name for the turbine vents that you see on top of houses.

The creatures were captured on video in Perth, and uploaded to the ABC News Facebook page on Tuesday where it has since gone viral.

And fair enough, they look like they're having a great time.

Surprisingly, corellas are regarded as destructive "because of their flocking nature and their habit of chewing for bill maintenance," according to Western Australia's Department of Environment and Conservation.

The majority of the corella population was introduced from the eastern states of the country, where they've expanded their range in the past 20 years. Often thought of noisy and annoying, they've been culled because of their damage to crops.

You wouldn't guess they were so bad from their behaviour on top of a roof.
