SAVE $200: This Walmart Black Friday TV deal brings a huge 85-inch TCL Roku 4K TV down to just $498. It's likely the cheapest 85-inch TV you'll see out of all the best Black Friday deals this season.

I've been keeping track of TVs on sale during every major shopping holiday for several years now. For Black Friday 2025, I'm seeing so many cheap 65- and 75-inch QLED TVs that I'd almost always recommend grabbing a QLED TV over a regular LED TV. The one exception is Walmart's $498 deal on this massive 85-inch TCL 4K Roku TV — I've seen enough TV deals to know that you don't stumble across an 85-inch TV under $500 often, if ever.

If your living room is so spacious that it almost looks more awkward to not have a big TV, this TCL deal is your best chance to fill that space on a budget. For reference, the cheapest 85-inch QLED TV deal so far this Black Friday was a $648 Hisense QLED TV that's already sold out. Or think of it this way: If your max budget was $500 for a QLED, you'd definitely have to settle for 75 inches. (I say "settle" as if 75 inch TVs aren't still huge.)

Still not sure what type of TV you even need? Here's a quick refresher on the advantages of QLED: QLED TVs use the same type of LED backlight panel that LED TVs like this TCL model do, but they sandwich a layer of quantum dots between that backlight and the screen. Quantum dots are tiny nanocrystals that are really good at reflecting light and colors, making QLED TVs brighter and more vibrant — something I've noticed the most when watching sports in the daytime. But if you're a super casual TV watcher who doesn't even notice that type of thing, the sheer size of this TCL TV could definitely create an at-home theater feel.
