With the threat of a ban looming, you might not have long to invest in a DJI drone. That means now is the perfect time to consider the DJI Mini 4K, and with Black Friday fast approaching, could we see a new record-low price on this beloved drone?

Why we love the DJI Mini 4K

There are many reasons why this particular drone is so popular, but the image quality is possibly top of the list. It's equipped with a 4K Ultra HD camera and a three-axis gimbal, so it delivers incredible, steady footage, no matter the lighting. It also benefits from a clever stabilization feature that makes sure every shot is smooth and cinematic.

It even has built-in QuickShots modes like Helix, Dronie, Rocket, Circle, and Boomerang, so you can automatically take special clips without spending ages fiddling with settings. The Mini 4K can also cope well with issues while in the air. It can withstand Level 5 winds, and can keep stable flight speeds up to 38kph and taking off at altitudes up to 4,000 meters.

Battery life is another selling point, and a big point of focus for drones. Depending on your chosen set, you can enjoy 31, 62, or up to 93 minutes of flight time. It also has beginner-friendly controls, including one-tap takeoff and landing, GPS Return to Home, and stable hovering to make it safe and easy to use.

When you order, you'll get the drone itself, an RC-N1C controller, and one battery, so you have everything you need to get shooting content as soon as your order arrives. And as it weighs under 249 grams, it doesn’t require FAA registration or Remote ID for recreational use, so it's the ideal choice for beginners or casual flyers.

Black Friday deal we hope to see on the DJI Mini 4K

Any deal on this product right now feels like a win, especially if you're hoping to purchase before a potential ban comes in. That being said, in recent weeks and months it has seen many impressive discounts, most recently going down to $239, its lowest-ever price. With a list price of $299, a $70 discount is perfectly acceptable, but we're hoping to see something even better over Black Friday. If you see the price creeping down towards $200, don't hesitate to buy.
