Insiders will earn loyalty points that can be redeemed for discounts, access to three exclusive free Lego sets, and special deals that won't be available anywhere else. Anyone shopping for Lego sets this Black Friday season — whether it's for your own personal display or for someone else — has no reason not to become a (free) Lego Insiders member during Lego Insiders Weekend, kicking off on Nov. 22. Think of it as a precursor to Lego's actual Black Friday sale, which starts on Nov. 28.

So yeah, maybe the best-selling Glinda and Elphaba Bookends or the Pac-Man Arcade aren't necessarily on sale, but buying them does get you a free gift and a decent chunk of points that can be redeemed for money off another set.
