Blizzard and Twitch just had the most amazing 'Overwatch' GIF exchange
Not every argument on Twitter needs to be contentious. Just ask Overwatch developer Blizzard Entertainment and live streaming service Twitch.
The whole affair started innocently enough: Blizzard tweeted about a Chinese New Year-themed live event in Overwatch that starts on Jan. 24. The caretaker of Twitch's feed responded excitedly with a perfectly selected "flailing Reaper" GIF.
See for yourself.

You might look at this and think, "Aw, that's cute." And you'd be right. But the exchange didn't end there.
What followed was an epic salvo of GIFs that quickly left Overwatch behind, to reference everything from The Shining to Frozen to Game of Thrones. Beware of light GoT spoilers, I guess?
We still don't know much of anything about Blizzard's "Year of the Rooster" event, but it doesn't matter. This back-and-forth is too funny.

Good show, Blizzard and Twitch. Or, to put it in the parlance of Overwatch text chat: gg wp.
