Move over, Bill Nye.

Blue Ivy Carter — you know, the famous daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z — wants you to take hand washing seriously during the coronavirus crisis. The 8 year old posted, via grandma Tina's Instagram, a handy little science trick that doubled as an adorable PSA video for washing your hands.

In the video, Carter recreates a handy little experiment you might've seen floating online before, where a fingertip dipped in soap pushes away pepper in water. It's meant to be a visual for how soap removes viruses and germs from your hands.

"I have this little DIY experiment that you can do at home, too," Blue Ivy narrates in the video. "This is why it's important to wash your hands."

People responded online by stanning the budding scientist and soon enough her name was trending across the U.S. on Twitter. Basically everyone's response was: Move over, Einstein, and get out of my face, Bill Nye. The world of science now belongs to Blue Ivy.

Beyoncé herself made a PSA of her own on Saturday. She made a surprise cameo on the "One World: Together At Home" concert. While Beyoncé didn't perform, she did thank healthcare workers, people in the food industry, delivery workers and others on the front lines of the coronavirus crisis. Beyoncé also made sure to point out that people of color are suffering disproportionately during the pandemic.

"Black Americans disproportionately belong to these essential parts of the workforce that do not have the luxury of working from home," Beyoncé noted. "And African American communities at large have been severely affected in this crisis. Those with pre-existing conditions are at an even higher risk. This virus is killing black people at an alarmingly high rate here in America."
