#BootBae shows us the real function of high heel boots

Possessives, we have found our hero.

Every once in a while, a video comes around to remind us we're not alone.

In relationships, society tells us it's unattractive to be possessive, but it's hard to fight our feelings. When those feelings of possessiveness arise within us, we worry about coming off as overprotective, jealous, or even insecure. But not now, not today.

#BootBae is here to liberate us all.

At a date auction, a woman was strutting her stuff in front of a crowd of potential bidders to take her on a date. She spotted a man in the front row, and decided to approach to give him a better look.

And thus, #BootBae was born.

Whether the strutting woman was ignoring the fact that the man had another beautiful woman sitting next to him with her leg draped across his lap or she somehow missed the bright red thigh high boot (😒), the woman decided she was (really) going to try it.

Bask in her confidence, for she is a hero to us all.

Once the video started gaining popularity, the woman who got denied by the boot identified herself on Twitter, and attempted to do some damage control.

But Twitter was absolutely not having it.
