A very pissed off girlfriend got back at her cheating man in the most major way.

It all began with a single, intriguing tweet.

On Sunday, Twitter user @AyanaTheDIVA posted something about figuring out her boyfriend had been cheating on her after a coworker showed her his Instagram page on her phone. She paired it with a very apt Beyonce gif.

What followed next was an epic thread, filled with betrayal and suspense.

Ayana begins by explaining that she'd just started a new job at a restaurant and right away had clicked with a fellow server. In talking about some of their customers, it becomes clear the two women have similar taste in guys. But little did they know just how similar....

The coworker was showing off this guy's photo, but Ayana ended up not seeing it right away. Until one fateful day this past weekend.

Rather than exploding right away, she played it VERY cool, simply asking "you know him?"

Ayana pushes a bit more to figure out exactly how involved her coworker is with her man, and it was then she got the really upsetting news.

Uh oh. Instead of flipping out, she decided to play a longer, more ice cold game. She started by asking where her new friend lived, which turned out to be very close to where Ayana lived. So she invited her back to the house (which she shared with her boyfriend) for an after work drink.

They arrive at her apartment. Her boyfriend is home, but he's in the bathroom. As soon as he comes out, shit gets real.

It's hard to imagine a more dramatic and high tension moment, but miraculously no one flipped out. Instead, her coworker, perhaps rightfully, got annoyed by being dragged into this showdown.

But the damage wasn't lasting.

And indeed, she later reported she had talked to her coworker and things were OK. Her boyfriend, however, is a different story.

And that's where this rollercoaster ride of a drama ends -- for now, anyway. Of course there's no way of knowing 100 percent for sure that this is what went down IRL, but who even cares, really? This is the kind of high stakes drama that makes the internet worth reading.
