If you ever get trapped in a sticky situation, just think of this koala.

Kelli the Koala found a new home up against the axle of a parked car in Adelaide, Australia last weekend. Then, the car started moving and Kelli was stuck.

The koala held on for 10 miles until the driver noticed her "traumatized cries," BBC reported. One rescuer even said she smelled the animal's burnt fur.

Rescuers removed the car's wheel to free the koala from its dangerous perch. After a few days recovering from the ordeal in captivity, rescue teams released Kelli back into the wild.

Stay safe, Kelli! No more sleeping in wheel arches.
