* Mild spoiler warning for the first episode of the fourth season of Black Mirror, "USS Callister." *

Look, we're still rethinking how we treat game characters after watching that first episode of season four of Black Mirror, "USS Callister."

While a chilling episode in the series' typical style, it also featured a hilarious cameo from Aaron Paul as an internet gamer at the end.

Jesse Plemons, who plays an unassuming megalomaniac in the episode, appeared as Todd Alquist alongside Paul in Breaking Bad.

Anyway, the two series have come together in a neat little promo for Black Mirror released on its social media pages.

The casting came following a suggestion from Black Mirror's creator Charlie Brooker, and fortunately Paul was a fan of the show.

"It was a hard balance to get; where the voice wasn’t patronizing and yet was still a letdown," the episode's director Toby Haynes told The Hollywood Reporter.

"You get this idea of a slacker voice and when I asked Charlie what kind of accent he wanted he said, 'How about Jesse from Breaking Bad, like, 'Hey ya’ll'? We mentioned that to our casting director and she suggested we just ask Aaron, so we picked up the phone and he said yes. That shows you the power of Black Mirror."

For those wondering, the Breaking Bad scene used in the promo is from Season 4, episode 4 of the series, "Bullet Points."

Oh, and of course they're not playing Infinity, the game which features in "USS Callister." It's actually just Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing.
