'Tis the social season and much like Queen Charlotte we all wish to be entertained.
Netflix heard our prayers for a lighthearted, steamy, gossip-filled binge to end this exhausting year and delivered Bridgerton, a series set in 1800s England that follows the Bridgerton family's quest for love, sex, and purpose in life.
If you're a fan of drama, royals, and Gossip Girl, then Bridgerton — which is based on Julia Quinn's bestselling novels — will be a surefire hit. The first season is jam packed with swoon-worthy romance, a mysterious gossip columnist, and crushes galore. Oh, and did we mention it's one of the horniest damn shows of the year?
