9 times British Twitter narrated the U.S. election in glorious fashion

LONDON -- The outcome of the U.S. presidential election will affect not only Americans, but the entire global community.

So yes, they have been paying attention -- in particular to the controversial campaigning by Republican candidate Donald Trump.

Perhaps in part because of the longstanding "special relationship" between the U.S. and UK, Britons have been especially vocal about their thoughts throughout the election.

And in 2016 where do you go to vocalize your political musings? Twitter of course:
