If you missed the Major League Base-brawl between Bryce Harper and Hunter Strickland on Memorial Day, we feel bad for you.

But if you missed the internet comedy it produced, we really feel bad for you.

Harper, a star for the Washington Nationals, charged the mound and attacked Strickland after the San Francisco Giants pitcher plunked him with a pitch on Monday. Before we move on to the fight's many comedic components — from a sad helmet-throw to a DGAF catcher — here's some straight-forward video.

OK now, first of all, what was up with Harper's helmet throw?!?

😭 😭 😭 😭 😭

For one of the MLB's best players, that's just a remarkably bad toss.

Because the internet always delivers, here's Harper's sad helmet throw crossed with rapper 50 Cent's infamously bad first pitch at an MLB game some years back.

Or maybe Lance Stephenson just blew it off course?

And LOLOLOLOL, this next one is simply amazing.

Before we move on to our next golden meme, you know the Harper's-helmet-throw portion of this flight wouldn't he complete without it receiving a crying Jordan treatment.

Behold:

Ryan Zimmerman, Harper's teammate, later helped break up the fight and pull the Washington star out of harm's way — which only made the internet realize how solitary and lonesome their own lives have become.

Meanwhile, as Harper was attacking Strickland, WHERE WAS GIANTS CATCHER BUSTER POSEY?!?!?!

Typically in a situation like this, a catcher would try to intervene while an enraged, 215-pound man attacks his pitcher.

So did Posey have his teammate's back? Nope! He just stood behind home plate, chilling and watching the fracas like he didn't have a single care in the world — which of course led to more comedy.

Posey addressed his hesitance to join the fight after the game.

"Well I mean after it happened, I kind of saw Harper point," Posey said in the locker room, per KNBR.com.

"Next thing you know, he’s going out after him. Those are some big guys tumbling around on the ground. "You see Mike Morse, is about as big as they come, and he was getting knocked around like a pinball. So…be a little dangerous to get in there sometimes."

Tough to argue with that, actually, especially coming from a guy who missed a season after being obliterated by a man charging him at full speed.

And thanks for the memes, guys.
