If for some reason you ever find yourself in possession of a bucket containing $1.6 million worth of gold flakes, here's a pro tip: Don't leave it unattended on the streets of New York.

Some high stakes thievery took place in broad daylight in September on West 48th St. between 5th and 6th Avenues in Manhattan (and just off the Diamond District) when a brazen man walked right up to an unattended armored truck, picked up the five-gallon bucket, and scampered off as passersby were none the wiser.
