Utility truck driving down a highway with its bucket extended is a real nail biter

Mistakes were made.

Instagrammer moy_monster captured a tense moment while driving to work earlier this week. A bucket truck was casually driving down a highway near El Paso, Texas with its bucket fully extended.

As the truck drives closer to the signs that stretch across the highway, it looks as if there is no way the bucket won't make contact. But miraculously, it misses a pole and two signs by just a few inches.

"After we shot video we sped up and let the driver know," moy_monster wrote in the Instagram comments. "He pulled over and everything was OK."

It's sort of like leaving the gas cap dangling off your car, except so much worse.
