The mad scientists in Burger King's product department have cooked up another radical new take on the fast food chain's most recognizable product.

The "Whopperito," which, as the name implies, is the godless lovechild of a cheeseburger and a burrito, is currently available in at least one Pennsylvania location, a Burger King employee confirmed to Mashable.

As first reported in GrubGrade, the restaurant seems to be testing how receptive the public might be to such a monstrosity, but there's no word yet on whether it could ever see a wider release. The company's headquarters did not immediately respond to our request for comment.

The new concoction follows the limited roll out of another mash-up called the "Whopper Dog," which turned heads in various Burger King stores last month.

Twitter users already have some strong opinions about the new menu item.
