Someone brilliantly recreated Calvin and Hobbes' 'Snowman House of Horror'

Calvin would be proud.

If you know anything about Calvin and Hobbes, you know that Calvin loves building twisted and disturbing snowmen almost as much as he loves his stuffed tiger Hobbes.

One of Bill Watterson's comic strips came to life this winter thanks to one Redditor, who shared the brilliant rendition of Calvin's "Snowman House of Horrors."

"My salute to Calvin and Hobbes -- my husband thinks I need therapy," Davbret wrote on Reddit. The image pays homage to a particular strip in which Calvin's mother confronts him about the gruesome snowy scene.

Davbret's version is a little bloody, but hey, we admire the realism and think Calvin would be proud.
