Miss Moving On now has a new relevance: Fifth Harmony announced the departure of singer Camila Cabello on Sunday night via Twitter statement, leaving just four members of the group formed on The X Factor in 2012.

"After four and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony," the statement read. "We wish her well."

Obviously, "informed via her representatives" is pretty dang cold/official, leading plenty to speculate about exactly what went down.

The remaining members -- Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane Hansen Normani Kordei, and Lauren Jauregui -- pledged to continue to make music together.

"We are four strong, committed women who will continue with Fifth Harmony as well as our solo endeavors," they explained, after thanking fans for their commitment over the years.

Cabello has yet to release any comments on her personal social media pages, but fans have made time to tweet their two cents about #FourthHarmony.

Mashable has reached out to Cabello's representatives for comment and will update this post with comments accordingly.

UPDATE: Dec. 19, 2016, 2:40 p.m. EST Cabello tweeted a statement this afternoon explaining her side of the story. "The girls were aware of my feelings...saying that they were just informed through my representatives that I was 'leaving the group' is simply not true," she explained before announcing that she will be working on solo music next year.
