Mother receives a cardboard cutout of her traveling son, life goes on
Last time you were away from home, did you call your mother? Regardless, the bar has just been set higher.
Dalton Ross, perhaps best known as the viral “When Life Gives You Lemons” guy, was studying abroad and worried about his mother missing him. So like any good son, Ross surprised his mother by sending her a smiling (sort of) cardboard cutout of himself.

His mother appreciated the gift, and has taken in the friendly piece of cardboard as one of her own.
It may not be the same as the real thing, but when life gives you flat lemons, you make flat lemonade.
