Carly Rae Jepsen kindly released a pristine pop song from her vault of gems. "Cut to the Feeling" is your typical Jepsen fare -- shimmering, urgent, and utterly addictive.

Jepsen initially recorded the song for E-MO-TION but it didn't make the final cut. She gave the song to the animated movie, Ballerina, which is why the original leaked version featured some dialogue.
The movie, in which Elle Fanning voices a ballerina because that was bound to happen eventually, will finally be released in the United States retitled as Leap! in September. The film also includes a previously unreleased track called "Runaways," sot that's something to live for.
