Carrie Fisher's dog loved 'The Last Jedi' and we're crying
The most important fan has finally seen The Last Jedi: Carrie Fisher's French Bulldog, Gary.
All Star Wars fans know Gary has been waiting for this moment since he first saw his late owner in The Last Jedi trailer, and a Friday screening his dreams came true.
ABC 7 reporter Veronica Miracle tweeted a video of Gary post-screening, showing off his X-Wing pilot costume. She explained that Gary sat on the lap of Fisher's former assistant to watch the movie and "his ears perked up" whenever she was on screen.
"What'd you think of the movie?" a reporter can be heard asking Gary. DON'T WORRY — he didn't drop any spoilers, guys.
Gary, clearly still speechless from seeing the glorious film starring his mom, responded by continuing to pant and walk around. Classic Gary.

Since Fisher's death in 2016 the film's release has been tough for actors and fans still struggling to gain closure. Several paid tribute to her by raising their lightsabers in the theater.

Fisher's co-star Mark Hamill and director Rian Johnson recently gushed about her at a Last Jedi press junket, and her daughter, Billie Lourd, paid tribute to her at the premiere.
Clearly Fisher's presence still looms on and off screen, and Gary remains one of her biggest fans.
