Turns out humans aren't the only ones with a fascination for cats. Cats are also fascinated by cats.
On Thursday night the BBC documentary Big Cats aired, and Britain's cats tuned in to watch their wild brethren.

To be fair this might not be a species-specific thing, the footage was pretty gripping by anyone's standards. Humans and animals alike will have to wait until next week for their next fix of Big Cats.
