Football fans defy rules, wave Palestinian flags in political protest
Scottish football club Celtic faces a sanction from UEFA, Europe's football governing body, after fans waved Palestinian flags during a Champions League match against Israel's Hapoel Beer Sheva.
The demonstration was organised by Celtic fans for Palestine, who ignored a warning by Scottish police prior to the match, to protest against Israeli military occupation in the Palestinian territories.
Celtic won the game 5-2 but faces a fine from UEFA, which bans political expression at matches.
