This hunk of cheese isn't afraid to get political.

When it comes to politics, celebrity endorsements can be game changers.

In an Instagram video posted today, native Alabamian Channing Tatum enjoined people from his home state to get out and vote today for Democrat Doug Jones in the Alabama special election. For Tatum, Moore has "done things that in my opinion go beyond the line of trust."

Tatum says he doesn't identify as either a Democrat or a Republican because "I am my own mind and my own heart and that is more complex than red and blue" — which is both a familiar refrain for many Americans and an impossibly lame one. "Most of all," he adds, he just wants "young people to go out and vote."

BORING.

Still, Tatum may exert some positive influence in what is expected to be an incredibly narrow race.

More than anything i just want young people to go out and vote.

Moore is a man "that's been accused of assaulting girls," Tatum says in the post. Unfortunately, as we've seen, standing up against pedophilia is a necessary political position in 2017.

Earlier in the week, Tatum shared another video urging Alabamians to vote for Doug Jones.

We'll be stress-watching the results all night long.
