There's two annoying things about cheese plates.

The first thing is that they're really delicious. The second is that it's not so easy to carry them around, and if you've got a smaller plate you'll need to keep returning to the platter for more.

Behold the Cheese Cone, here to help with those transportation problems.

The cone is made with lavash flatbread, and filled with brie, a cranberry and pistachio cheddar, salami, then topped with a spiced pear paste and a breadstick through the middle. The base of the cone also has a "zingy" yoghurt cheese, to help cleanse the palate.

It's created by Kurrajong Kitchen Lavosh and Hunter Belle Cheese for the Cheese Lovers Festival, at the Hunter Valley in Australia.

"We wanted to combine ingredients that weren’t going to overpower each other. In any dish, it’s important to have a balanced palate; sweet, salty and texture. Lavash is the perfect thickness and not overpowering which is what we look for in a great cheese accompaniment," Annie Chesworth, co-owner of Hunter Belle Cheese, said in a statement via email.

According to the designers of this creation, people who tested these out demolished them "in 5 minutes" -- despite initial concerns that there would be too much cheese.

Unfortunately for those cheese fiends who aren't anywhere near Australia, the Cheese Cone is only available at the festival on the 17th and 18th of June.

That doesn't mean you can't experiment with your own on-the-go cheese plate in a cone, hey.
