LONDON -- When it comes to social media, you don't want to get on the wrong side of Cher.

The American singer has been particularly active on Twitter recently, tweeting her thoughts on the ever-shifting, completely-all-over-the-place UK political scene.

On Wednesday night, after former London Mayor and Brexit campaigner Boris Johnson was made Foreign Secretary, someone asked Cher for her opinion on the appointment.

She certainly didn't pull any punches with her response.

(To be fair, you really can't fault her emoji use.)

Someone then followed up with another key question.

Cher managed to throw even more shade at Boris Johnson with her reply.

At this point some people -- perhaps confused by her frantic use of capitals and emoji -- wanted to know if it was actually the real Cher.

That blue tick doesn't lie.
