Linkin Park's Chester Bennington, 41, was reportedly found dead Thursday morning in Los Angeles. His death was reportedly a suicide, per TMZ. A rep for the singer did not immediately respond to Mashable's request for confirmation.

TMZ first reported the news.

This comes shortly after the death of singer Chris Cornell, whom Chester was friends with, before Cornell's own suicide in May. Bennington wrote his friend a letter the day Cornell passed away.
