Little thief experiences pure terror when almost caught sneaking a drink

If you didn't try to sneak stuff without your parents knowing, did you even have a childhood?

Twitter user Joanelis posted this video of her cousin Monday, trying to swipe a drink and then running for his life once his mom hears the commotion.

We've all experienced this moment of sheer terror before. Nothing is more horrifying than getting caught doing something you were told not to do (probably more than once) by a parent.

And for anyone worried that this boy was trying to take alcohol without his mom knowing, Joanelis assured everyone that it was just Welch's Sparkling Red Grape Juice:

People of Twitter loved everything from this kid's quick escape to the incredible laugh in the background. Some could also totally relate to his scheme.

This might be the fastest this kid has ever ran in his life, but the real question is...did he get caught?

We'll never know. All we can hope is that this little thief survived whatever fate found him.
