This ruthless hairstyle is like three bowl cuts in one

We hope this model's smile is genuine, because the Internet isn't buying it.

For her sake, we hope this hair model's smile is genuine.

On Saturday the Facebook page for Barbershapp, an app that helps people find and book appointments for barbers nearby, posted a video entitled "Stylish Cut."

The stylist cuts the model's hair at severe angles, almost creating a swirl of choppy, uneven layers. Then she teases the bottom of the model's hair to make it frizzy and poofy.

The Internet just has one question: Why?

Currently there is no explanation for the 'do, nor where the app obtained said footage, but the video has over 75,000 shares and nearly 10 million views.

One user writes, "Poor girl, this is awful, it's not like she can even really turn it into a pixie cut or anything later, her hair was pretty before, now it just looks like a kid took scissors to it!"

Another is concerned: "Wow! I've worn some edgy cuts myself but this is ugly period and the look on her face tells me she absolutely hates it [sic]."

The most popular comment, with over 23,000 likes, reads, "I think I can safely speak on behalf of the nation by saying that this is most definitely NOT going to be a trend. I have no Other words [sic]."
