Fans and colleagues of Christina Grimmie were left in shock and disbelief this weekend after the singer was shot while signing autographs after an Orlando concert with the band Before You Exit. She later died of her injuries at a local hospital.

Grimmie, famous for her appearance on The Voice as well as her minimalist covers of pop songs, made waves in both the music and YouTube communities — a sentiment many expressed on social media in the wake of her death.

As of Saturday morning, #RIPChristina was the top trending tag on Twitter.
