Chuck E. Cheese delivery: Where an adult can be a kid.

Forget the ball pits, games, and life-size mouse mascot. Everyone knows the best thing about Chuck E. Cheese is the pizza.

Unfortunately, unless you're a child who can go to Chuck E. Cheese whenever you want, or a parent who can accompany a child there, you likely don't get to enjoy that cheesy pizza very often.

Well long gone are the days of waiting to be invited to a niece or nephew's birthday party, people, because Chuck E. Cheese just announced it will start delivering pizza nationwide, along with "a goody bag" of games, toys, or a stuffed animal.

"We know families love our fresh, never frozen pizza as much as our games," Ashley Zickefoose, chief marketing and concept officer at CEC Entertainment, Inc., said in a press release. "After years of hearing from guests that we should offer a way for families to enjoy our delicious pizzas at home, we're excited to make delivery a reality as part of several game-changing initiatives that we have planned this year."

The restaurant chain's third-party delivery service will come to more than 345 locations across the nation, which means people can order fresh Chuck E. Cheese's pizzas (and other menu items) through services like Grubhub, Uber Eats, and DoorDash.

When news of the Chuck E. Cheese delivery experience hit Mashable offices, let me tell you, reviews were MIXED.

Some argued that the pizza can and should only be enjoyed in the establishment, as it's part of the Chuck E. Cheese experience. And others could not imagine ever wanting to order the sub-par food to their homes, explaining it tastes less like pizza and more like "pizza bread."

Still, some adults I work with were thrilled at the future opportunity, proudly and publicly standing by Chuck E. Cheese.

"I really like Chuck E. Cheese pizza and I refuse to live in shame," a colleague said on Slack. Another one slid into my DM's to say, "That's good pizza. It's good shit."

According to the release, Chuck E. Cheese has already tested its delivery service in Dallas, Tampa, Orlando, Miami and San Francisco, late last year. It was apparently a great success, so here we are.
