Clinton calls and concedes as Trump takes the stage
Hillary Clinton has called Donald Trump to concede the election, according to NBC.
Not long before that, shortly after 2 a.m. ET on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, Hillary Clinton's campaign chair John Podesta took to the stage at New York City's Javits Center and said the world wouldn't be hearing from Hillary Clinton on Tuesday night.
"We can wait a little longer, can't we?" Podesta asked the thousands on hand. "They're still counting votes and every vote should count. Several states are too close to call, so we're not going to have any more to say tonight."
