Ana Navarro told a CNN guest 'not all colored people are the same,' after confusing her and April Ryan

The "Sean Spicer Shouldn't Have Said That" 2017 tour continues, and wow, does it keep inspiring more terribleness in its wake.

The latest and most cringeworthy comes to us from Republican Jack Kingston, a former Georgia Representative and frequent CNN panelist. Kingston was on CNN on Tuesday to discuss Spicer's recent statements about the Holocaust, which, like, already: bad idea.

Journalist April Ryan was also on the show, highlighting the fact that Spicer's comments were horrifically timed, as they came during Passover, a week-long Jewish holy period.

As Ryan was explaining,"It's not about politics, it's about people that were hurt. Sean realized that and he apologized," she was interrupted by Kingston, who repeatedly called her "Ana."

The problem with this is that April's name is not Ana. It's, well, April.

Don Lemon, who was moderating the discussion, quickly pointed out the gaffe, spurring (the real) Ana Navarro to clap back with a scorching hot retort: "Not all colored girls are the same, Jack."

Curling up in the fetal position? Exactly. And the roast wasn't done with that blast. Far from it.

The tension continued to build after Kingston incorrectly called Ryan a Democrat—she's not. She's a journalist, with no political affiliations.

In response, Ryan blasted Kingston: "So I'm a Democrat because I'm black?"

Navarro, giving a truly iconic eye roll, dryly piled on: "He thinks you're me, that's the problem." Then later, channeling what everyone was thinking, advised Kingston: "Why don't you just quit while you're behind?"

Kingston's doddering excuses that he couldn't see who was talking and Lemon's halfhearted "they're both wearing yellow" explanation weren't enough to save him from viewers who are now dragging him back and forth across the floor on Twitter. (Also, fwiw, Ryan is pretty clearly wearing green, so there's that.)
