“We are streaming motherfuckers!”

So say Joel and Ethan Coen, who will write, direct and executive produce a new Western anthology for Netflix.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs will hit Netflix in 2018 and feature six tales about the American frontier. The project will star Tim Blake Nelson as Buster, and many others.

“The Coens are visionary directors, masterful storytellers, and colorful linguists. We are thrilled for Netflix to become home to the full range of their talents,” said Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content for Netflix.

The directing duo most recently helmed Hail, Caesar! and penned George Clooney's upcoming crime comedy Suburbicon for the big screen.
