If you want to find love on Coffee Meets Bagel, you'd better get your game face on.

The popular dating app is launching a video feature today that aims to make your search for companionship a little easier. They're joining a host of other love-related apps that have added video in recent months.

Coffee Meets Bagel has opted to go with a Snapchatesque approach that prompts users to answer a "question of the day." The feature, which is free, allows videos up to eight seconds long. Each prompt offers you the chance to reveal something about yourself, and they disappear each time a new question is posted -- so you don't need to stress about achieving lasting perfection.

Dawoon Kang, the company's COO, said in a statement that the video feature offers a more personal interaction immediately: “It’s like meeting before you meet.”

While it may seem like yet another thing to do in an already often exhausting exercise, there does seem to be some payoff. It will lead to more exposure for you, since profiles with videos will be seen by five times more people in your area. And, in beta, they found that more than half of users who made videos were like on that day.

And at the very least, even if you don't put yourself on camera, it will help you weed out people with whom you have zero chemistry.
