It's the incident that just keeps giving.

On Monday, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were forced to partake in a North Korea-style video for the Australian government.

The duo had illegally snuck their dogs into the country. As payment for their crime, the Hollywood couple took part in a terribly-acted video saying sorry to Australia for flouting their strict laws. It was a warning to dog smugglers everywhere.

As expected, the Internet broke down in hysterics when the video was released and the straight-faced footage became the stuff of meme dreams. Including this hostage-style video.

Late night American TV host Stephen Colbert was not letting Australia get away with this ridiculous prank on the A-List.

So he made his own spoof video, in which he took the position of Depp alongside a fake Heard and bowed down to Australia.

"Australia is an island surrounded by sharks, kangaroos and blooming onions," fake Heard said. "A magical upside down land, where the toilets flush backwards."

Colbert joked: "I would also like to state this woman is not my wife, and I am truly sorry for smuggling her into your country. She has not had her shots."

Just don't tell Barnaby.
