Construction worker dad parodies influencers with his hilarious Instagram account. Turns out, it's a marketing stunt.

Forget everyone else, this is the only influencer you need to follow from now on.
A dad named Omar from Austin, Texas is finally getting the Instagram engagement he deserves after all of his hard work influencing.
When Omar recently found out exactly what it means to be an influencer, he decided to give it a go. He created the Instagram account @justaconstructionguy and started posting carefully curated snapshots of his daily life.
His daughter shared his antics on Twitter, and it was later screenshot and reposted by the meme account @middleclassfancy. When Omar's daughter first posted about his account, he had 75 followers. After being shared across meme accounts all over Instagram this week, his following has blown up to 285,000 at the time of writing.
Omar's influencing includes promoting his favorite coffee shop, flat lays of his work uniform, and close-ups of his cigar smoke.

He also keeps up with the aesthetic trends of Instagram, with the help of his daughter.
While Omar hasn't started promoting diet teas and hair vitamins yet, he has continued to share his love of one thing: Coffee.
He loves it so much that many of the few accounts he does follow are coffee-themed. Omar follows just 29 other Instagram accounts, including The Home Depot, cigar-themed accounts, and photo aggregators that post daily pictures of construction equipment. He's clearly found his niche.
Omar hasn't dipped his toes into the world of influencer drama yet, but he seems pretty happy with his construction-themed content.
