There's only one surefire way to get your 2018 off to the start it deserves, and that's repeated viewings of a small corgi falling backwards into her owner's lap.

Introducing Instagram star Arya the Corgi. In the following clip (which needs to be viewed a minimum of 8 times), Arya is demonstrating the "trust fall":

Dogs don't make everything better, sadly, but hey -- they certainly help.
