Cory Booker and Bert take the selfie of your childhood dreams
Cory Booker and Bert became BFFs on The Mashable Show at SXSW -- and made it official with a glorious selfie.
The Sesame Street muppet and the uber popular U.S. senator hung out in Austin, Texas on Saturday and captured the blooming relationship in the only worthy way. It followed a deep discussion about sidekicks, head shaving and the meaning of freedom.
Booker didn't shy away from expressing his love for Bert, his idol since he was three years old. "Bert, what an honor, you have been in my life for a long time and I am grateful," he said, causing our old favorite muppet to blush.
We'd blush too, Bert.
