The first season of ELeague's Counter-Strike quarterfinals have come to a close, marking a week full of some of the top teams battling it out for a place in the finals week. Fnatic handled Team EnVyUs and Natus Vincere edged out Cloud9 on Thursday, and Friday saw Mousesports upset Astralis.

The match of the week was Virtus.pro vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas on Friday night. The two teams could have both fit comfortably in the finals, but unfortunately only one could make it through, and that was Virtus.pro.

Both teams had some amazing plays as they battled it out live on TBS and Twitch, and these were some of the most impressive.

Get Right took the first two players out, then F0rest picked off one more and Get Right finished off the rest of the crew creeping through the tunnel. Not a great tactic on VP's part.

Not knowing how many NiP players were going to be coming through the smoke, Pasha decided to take his chances and let the team walk past him so he could catch them from behind. It worked out well and Pasha took out three NiP players before going down.
